The Role:
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, willing to go the extra mile, and have an eye for detail. Compassion and empathy for both people and their furry family members is a must. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication skills, along with having a collaborative team approach.
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Reception or Customer Support.
Medical background or Veterinary Reception/Nurse background is preferred but not essential.
Exceptional customer service skills and phone manner.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Polite and resilient nature.
A willingness to get involved in all areas of the clinic.
Energetic and driven.
Ability to use initiative, assume responsibility for tasks, and resolve problems.
Knowledge of ezyVet advantageous but not essential.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Working from 6 pm to midnight with some weekend shifts.
Delivering outstanding client care to all patients and owners.
Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email, and over the phone.
Performing administration duties and associated tasks.
Managing the appointment schedule.
Taking payments and balancing the banking at the end of the shift.
Assisting with product sales and client education.
Ensuring the front of the house is always clean and presentable.
Performing ad hoc duties around the hospital to support the team as needed.
