Right now, we are looking for a Financial Lead/Analyst to join our finance team in Istanbul and support operations and reporting.
Main responsibilities include: Financial Management / Fund Admin
Quarterly investor reporting Annual investor reporting (annual financials, tax reporting, capital statements) Work on annual audit preparation, liaise with auditors on audited financials Perform drawdown & distribution calculations, preparation of notices to investorsCoordination of investment closing process (formal documents / payments etc.)Coordination of exit processes from portfolio investments
Investments
Collecting and reviewing quarterly and annual financials of portfolio companiesMonitoring & reviewing investment transaction dataAd Hoc reporting of portfolio company metrics to investors.
Operations
Coordination of payments Cash managementPreparation & review of operational budgetReview annual accounts/tax returns of structure entitiesStreamlining accounting procedures and operations
The skills we are looking for:
Undergraduate degree in Economics/Finance/Business, preferably from a reputable university
Experience in Finance (Financial Reporting & Accounting-Financial Analysis) at a 1st-tier firm, Audit experience is a plus
Detail oriented and diligent to ensure all tasks are completed to a high level of accuracy
Trustworthy with strong ethics and references
Hard-working & eager to learn financial management of investment funds
Strong organizational and time management skills
Fluent in EnglishStrong fluency in MS Office (esp. Excel)Big plus’es: experience with foreign jurisdictions especially Luxembourg and/or fund management experience and/or tech company experience
