Early Morning Cleaner

JOB TITLE: Early Morning Cleaner

LOCATION: The Forge Shopping Centre, Glasgow

WORKING HOURS: 17.5 hours per week, Rolling rota mixture of weekdays and weekends

PAY RATE: £11.58 per hour

As an Early morning cleaner, you will be required to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout The Centre, internally by ensuring that all areas are deep cleaned to the given specification. Experience not required as full training will be given.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but not limited to. 

• Using machinery on site. (Full training given) 

• Detailed cleaning of Escalators and lifts. 

• Reporting to the Early Morning Supervisor. 

• Assisting with cleaning windows on window cleaner holidays and days off. 

• Working as part of the team to ensure mall is clean and ready for public. 

• Deep cleaning of mall  

Cleaning of specialised equipment (Escalators and airlocks) 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Good inter-personal and communication skills

·       Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks

·       Ability to work alone and as part of a team

·       Approachable and courteous manner

·       A desire to work in an adult services environment

·       An understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building
