POSITION OVERVIEW
KKR seeks a proactive individual to join the firm’s Talent Acquisition team, based in New York. As a key part of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Early Careers Recruiter will be responsible for supporting the continued growth of KKR by identifying and guiding candidates through our hiring process. This individual will operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and will need to be organized, self-motivated, resilient and collaborative.
The ideal candidate will bring 2-8 years of experience in either recruiting or financial services. They will have solid working knowledge of the asset management landscape, the players, and what it takes to be successful. They will have excellent judgment and a track record of success. Finally, they will have experience in a role that has involved multi-tasking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment, as well as strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Early Careers Recruiter will manage the end-to-end hiring process for all Analysts and Associates joining investment and distribution teams in the US. They will manage their own workflow while helping teammates and internal business partners drive our recruiting strategy forward. They will also help design ways to more efficiently recruit and may be engaged with researching and direct sourcing KKR’s future hires. Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing strong talent pipelines for Analyst/Associate level hires through a wide range of sources, from agency recruiters to diversity partner organizations to employee referrals
- Managing and maintaining the firm’s existing relationships with agency recruiters as well as developing new ones
- Screening prospects and interested candidates to determine who should advance, both by resume review and interview
- Helping active candidates navigate our hiring processes.
- Developing consultative relationships with hiring managers and providing a high level of client service to internal stakeholders and partners
- Ensuring that talent pipelines are managed and cleared using Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System
- Thinking holistically about the firm’s sourcing strategy, including candidate outreach and engagement
- Providing relevant market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Gaining a thorough understanding of KKR and its business model and culture to identify, attract, assess and retain talent
