Engagements are typically focused on digitization of existing operations & processes and/or activation of digital customer engagement channels. With a team of 100+ tech and market consultants, robusta maintains an impactful footprint across EMEA and engages with its clients through its two key operations hubs in Egypt and Germany. 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic E-Commerce Commercial Manager to join our partner Mazaya Retail Group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving e-commerce growth, managing digital sales channels, and optimizing commercial strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

What you’ll be doing

  • Direct Manager for two teams (commercial & content), setting KPIs/Scorecard for each team member
  • Responsible for 10 different Fashion & Beauty Brands with 10 different websites from commercial POV (Content, Traffic, Conversion, AOV, Sales & Gross Profit)
  • Communicate with Brand & Marketing directors along with suppliers (Franchisers) to align brand strategy & communication
  • Enable commercial team to maintain a rolling 1 year ecom calendar which includes market seasonalities, commercial plans (discounts, promotions, etc) & communication channels (Social Media, SMS, etc) for each brand
  • Follow up with ecom Commercial Team to have spending within budget (SM, Influencers, sampling, gifting, etc)
  • Lead Media buying with the help of Digital department to ensure efficient ROAS
  • Grow Marketplaces sales YoY (Amazon, Noon, Instashop, etc)
  • Build Partnerships (BNPL/payment aggregators, seasonal collaborations with relevant brands, etc) to increase sales in the required channels as per overall strategy
  • Report Activities ROI

Requirements

What we need from you

  • BSc degree in Business (Preferably marketing major)
  • 5-7 years of experience as overall Commercial experience 
  • 2- 3 years of experience in E-commerce field is a MUST
  • Excellent command of Arabic & English
  • Experience in the Fashion industry is a preferable
  • Experience in marketplaces such as Amazon, Jumia, etc is preferable
