The YouVersion Donor Impact Manager is primarily responsible for discovering, evaluating, and stewarding the most impactful content, projects, and prospects for each lane of generosity at YouVersion. This role identifies ways to connect the YouVersion Community, donors, and partners to the impact of their generosity. This role partners with the Marketing and Creative teams to create compelling content and projects that transform the giver experience from a simple transaction to a deeper relationship.

The Donor Impact Manager supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You’ll Do

  • Connect with the Story Producer to review Community stories weekly to identify the most impactful story for each lane of generosity.
  • Identify and present key metrics and stories of impact both internally and externally as an ambassador of Donor Development.
  • Develop how to package and communicate the YouVersion story to connect with all donors effectively.
  • Track key data and outcomes to inform and empower the Development team on campaign, financial forecast, and event development.
  • Identify upcoming content needs for projects and campaigns.
  • Manage proposals, giving campaigns, newsletters, and events.
  • Develop systems and processes to ensure excellent access and delivery of proposals and other assets to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify development lanes, felt and unfelt needs, cultural trends, and other specifics about each donor type.
  • Create new relationships and nurture existing ones across the areas of the organization.

Skills Needed to Succeed

  • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to maintain and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Maintain flexibility and initiate processes and projects while exemplifying a high level of customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1 -3 years of related work experience.
