Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks and experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and specifications. Design and Development

Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks for manufacturing and prototyping.

Develop innovative mechanical solutions for DoD-related projects, ensuring functionality, durability, and compliance with military specifications.

Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and thermal analysis to validate designs.

Project Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and program managers, to meet project objectives.

Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, testing protocols, and user manuals.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Testing and Validation

Oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

Conduct testing and analysis to validate product performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues.

DoD Compliance and Support

Ensure designs meet DoD standards, including MIL-STD compliance and ITAR regulations.

Support DoD programs through direct communication with government representatives and contractors.

Prepare technical data packages and participate in design reviews with DoD stakeholders.
