District Manager– Multifamily Portfolio Property Management

Eagle Point Companies is seeking an experienced District Manager – Multifamily Portfolio Property Management, to be based in St. Louis, MO and part of and supported by a larger Kansas City, MO team. This dynamic, hands-on position is responsible for the operating performance of a small number of properties, ensuring strong customer service for our residents, while supporting the professional development of up to 25 employees.
Requirements of the District Manager – Multifamily Portfolio Property Management:
- 7 to 10 Years Direct Property Management experience
- 3 to 5 Years Multi-site Supervisory experience
- LIHTC/HUD experience
- Deep affordable housing experience and knowledge of the competitive St. Louis apartment market, Tax Credit and current rents
- Proven track record dealing with troubled assets
- Experience with HUD REAC inspections and affordable housing compliance, including LIHTC, Section 8 and Fair Housing Law/Practices.
- Ability to interact effectively and respectfully with residents, vendors and contractors
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong sense of urgency and solid time management
- Ability to coach, mentor and support the professional development of staff
- Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of RealPage, or similar management software
- Experience in apartment marketing, outreach and lease-up
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to properties within the greater St. Louis area and Kansas City as needed.
Benefits of the Job:
- Annual pay in the range of $80,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities of the District Manager – Multifamily Portfolio Property Management:
- Directing and supervising a team of up to 25
- Occupancy, rent collection, and waitlist management
- Managing expenditures and processing approvals for capital projects
- Work order monitoring and overseeing curb appeal
- Coordinate and lead periodic Agency inspections and follow-up
- Review monthly closings for accuracy and scheduled rent adjustments
- Review initial certifications and annual recertifications for compliance
- Tenant Relations/Customer Service
- Ongoing communication with supervisor and office accounting staff
- Compliance with Tax Credit and Section 8 programs
