The District Manager plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Daily Thread by overseeing 5-8 retail locations within a designated market. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the retail landscape and excellent leadership skills. The District Manager will be responsible for implementing store strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of high performance and customer satisfaction across all stores in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute market business strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Lead and mentor Store Managers to enhance their performance and drive team engagement.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all stores.
- Collaborate with senior field leaders to align market objectives with overall company goals.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across all locations.
- Provide regular reports on market performance and key metrics to senior field leaders.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure effective recruitment, training, and development of store staff.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive promotional activities and events to increase brand awareness within the market.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a multi-store or District Manager role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- Ability to travel within the designated market area as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor.
