Distribution Sales Manager

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationshipsGeneration and monitoring of the business plan having clear objectives and strategy, complying with times, methods and policies.
  • Detect opportunities, guide the manager and client and propose special commercial actions such as: price promotions, advertising and promotion at the point of sale.
  • Definition of the channel's standard business plan for potential clients.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Seek new potential customers developing a long term business plan.
  • Responsible for distributor support in the central area.
  • Manage and control resources within the CC, looking for savings opportunities within the operation and making expense reports on time and within budget following company policies.
  • Manage the trips and expenses generated, in a timely manner and in accordance with the policy.
  • Control and administration on expenses.
  • Planning of expenses and investments for department operations.
  • Define the best organizational structure according to present and future needs.
  • Define the job profiles requiered for each position and assure the best fit
  • Hire and promote the right talent and implement development plans
  • Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of TT Team.
  • Moniitoring of team activities (POS developement, Strategy execution, sales achievement, etc)
  • Act as an ambassador for change within the company, empowering direct reports, peers and staff to meet the highest standards of collaboration and contribution.Internal processes:
  • Logistics and operations - Support to solve problems in the operation and logistics process if needed.
  • Sales - Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Finance: Follow the portfolio recovery through effective communication between the department and clients .
  • Knowledge of financial aspects, ensuring that they are implemented in the preparation of business plans as well as in the fulfillment of KPI's.
  • Prepare executive presentations for Top Management, National Management, internal & external clients.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Collaboration in assigned projects (internal & external)POS development
  • Competitors and price analysis.
  • Define marketing strategy, follow of implementation and results measurement.
  • Define Sell in / Sell out strategies.
  • Define Contiservice image strategy.
  • Provide support and monitoring for the effective operation of programs, campaigns and communication.
  • Develop a sustainable strategy to accomplish CMC, Total Volume, Volume by Brand (focused on Continental)
  • Analysis and interpretation of data to find development opportunities
  • Increase market & clients point of sales.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Customer prospecting in order to have national coverage in the distributor channel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (4 year college) + Field specific Certification if needed (Retail Background)
  • More than 5 years of: Knowledge customer specific requirements.  Consultancy and general relationship management.
    Experience working in sales (Retail)
  • 5 years experience leading project teams, direct leadership of people
