Distribution Manager

Hellofresh is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the distribution process from our Derby site. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our meal kits are dispatched in a timely manner, while maintaining high-quality standards and optimising operational efficiency. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Managing a team of shift managers, supervisors and operatives to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time.  
• Engaging and developing the team to achieve optimum performance and for the colleagues to meet their full potential. 
• Maintain up to date and accurate records on outbound performance and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for continuous improvement. 
•  Collaborate with production, transport planning and 3PL teams to ensure timely availability of meal kit boxes for dispatching 
• Creating and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions

Who You Are:

• Proven experience in distribution or warehouse management position  
• Proficient in using distribution management software and systems for order processing, tracking, and reporting.  
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, inventory management and transportation operations.  
•  Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships 
•  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 10am - 7pm
