As a Displays Software Engineer Intern, you will be a part of the Remote Piloting Software Team. This team is responsible for building the pilot-facing application software that is used to command the aircraft's advanced automation systems — both onboard, and remotely. You will join a team of interdisciplinary and mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics, and self-driving vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Work with peers and users to identify needs, establish constraints, and iterate on designs for user centered interfaces
- Prototype and implement applications for testing, controlling, and supporting our automated aircraft systems
- Test interfaces to validate the usability and reliability of safety-critical systems
Basic Success Criteria
- In progress college-degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Product Design, or similar
- Experience with web development and design (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Preferred Success Criteria
- Experience with the web ecosystem and core technologies, particularly in realtime and data-driven applications
- Familiarity with user centered design and design applications such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail

Internship opportunities are located at our corporate office in Mountain View, CA. The estimated annualized salary for this internship is $116,000. based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.
