Description: Coupang Fulfillment Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Dry ICE Ulsan Plant team. This pivotal role will be responsible for the construction and operation of Dry Ice Plant as a PM and performs FEM Manager after GO-live. This position should be based in Ulsan, Korea
Purpose of Position:
- Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects ensuring that safety guidelines are met and potential risks are eliminated.
- Design and implement projects for improvement of production facility to deliver better than expected performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work jointly with Business Development and Sales & Marketing on technical feasibility studies and costing for new growth opportunities and implement effective project management system for those identified projects.
- Project Management:
- Plan and Develop the Project Idea
- Create the team required and execute the project
- Monitor the project progress ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Ensure stake holders satisfaction through regular progress update.
- Implement and manage the Engineering Management of Change process in CPLB
- Carry out engineering review and approve any modification, asset addition to the existing dry ice manufacturing facility.
- Working together with production team to optimize and/or debottleneck the current plant capacities and implement improvement projects
- Plan and own the yearly capital expenditures budget for the Dry Ice Operations Business
- Ensure compliance of all modification or projects to Korean as well as logical legislative and internal CPLB requirements
- Ensure access to the technology of the company and its dissemination and application internally
- Ensure compliance and achievement of performance standards in all engineering projects and initiatives
- Promote Site-safe program
- Report and investigate hazards, accidents and near misses
- Implement PPE standards
- Implement safe work and emergency procedures
Required Key Functional Skills:
- Strong background in engineering fundamentals complemented with a higher qualification in engineering management.
- Process Operations experience
- Project Management skills
- Basic Knowledge of CO2 production including the associated hazards
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards for plant and equipment.
- High attention to detail, comfortable with “hands-on” management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Basic Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- At least 15 years in an engineering and project management field.
- Professional project management certification preferred
