The role can be based from any US location so we can be flexible and you'll report to a VP of Training. We're looking for an all round Google Cloud expert with an interest in Machine Learning, Data Engineer & AI to join our team of instructors.

As part of our award-winning team you will help us build our training portfolio and deliver training globally to some of the world's largest brands.

We require an experienced Cloud professional who has a track-record of delivering high quality products or training using GCP technologies. If you're already a Certified Google Cloud Instructor, that would be wonderful, however whilst training experience isn't essential. The important thing is you're an expert with GCP products and have worked with the platform providing solutions for the customer and you have experience sharing knowledge and are comfortable presenting in front of an audience. Once you join, we can help you to become a certified Google Cloud instructor.

You will have a working knowledge of all things GCP, the more diverse your expertise the better. We need someone who can help us to develop our AI training curriculum, both directly within the Google Cloud ecosystem, but then also in the wider sense as to how AI can be used in different industries, different AI tools and platforms and beyond.

You will help the team identify opportunities to develop materials for teaching new Cloud courses and delivering training covering the existing Google courses, including the following specific learning tracks;

  • Cloud Platform Architect Track
  • Machine Learning Track
  • Cloud Network Engineer Track
  • Cloud Security Specialist Track
  • Cloud Data Engineering Track

You'll have experience delivering additional courses and you will hold the relevant certifications from any of the wider Google range (https://cloud.google.com/training/courses) would also be an advantage.

You will also understand the competitors on the landscape who compete directly with Google Cloud, including other providers such as Amazon & Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

  • You will deliver a lot of virtual classroom deliveries, these are global so expect deliveries that might be out of your own time-zone. It's important to know that with virtual delivery you could support customers both in the United States, Europe, Middle East and Africa and sometimes Asia Pacific regions
  • You will also provide some face-to-face training both to clients in your region, but also occasionally you might be asked to travel to deliver courses overseas.
  • It's important to note, flexibility is of the utmost importance with this role. Working a variety of hours will be necessary .
  • You'll need to keep pace with GCP technology and product development.
  • You will help us develop our product range and grow our offering of cloud & AI courses.
  • You'll need to hold the relevant GCP professional certification/s
  • 3+ years' experience with Cloud Technologies.
  • Adapt at presenting and delivering multiple-day-long training sessions both in the classroom and online.
  • Comfortable in training enterprise level clients on how to develop or diversify their current skill set.
  • Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux operating system environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in system operations, including deploying and managing applications, either on-premises or in a public cloud environment.
  • Google Cloud Platform, can obtain as a minimum the Data Engineer and Machine Learning Certifications
  • Client-centric - You'll love getting to know your clients, developing long-lasting relationships and adding value to their business.
  • Analytics - You'll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
  • Team Collaboration - You'll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.

The salary bracket for this role is $180k-$200k depending on experience
