Position Overview:

We understand thatwe are at our best when we work closely with our partners. Asour business continues to grow quickly, we are aggressively investing in the expansion of our partnership’s organization. We are building a powerful partner ecosystem with important the most important technology partners. 

We are looking for a dynamic leader that can scale Diligent’s partnerships with major technology partners. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Build successful GTM strategies and drive booking acceleration through partners. 
  • Help Partners build partner-specific solution offerings using Diligent technology to drive successful revenue models for our partners and business outcomes to their customers.
  • Expand and deepen Diligent’s leadership in the marketplace through successful partnerships. 

It will be critical for the Director to work cross-functionally, incorporating internal Diligent resources to ensure partner success. This role will report to the VP of Technology Partners. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute a partner strategy to identify, recruit and nurture partnerships with global technology and partners. 
  • Develop and execute activities designed to increase the number of customer referrals of Diligent products from assigned partners. 
  • Understand the partner’s organizations, products and services to best position Diligent. 
  • Clearly articulate how partners may best leverage Diligent to drive more value from Diligent solutions. 
  • Assist in building out Diligent’s partner infrastructure such as enablement, partner portal, compensation, etc. 
  • Assist in building out the broader partner ecosystem support with events, webinars, content, etc. 
  • Leverage the Diligent enablement team for partners to increase awareness of product functionality, selling features and best practices for success within their organizations. 
  • Successfully utilize the resources within the team; jointly determine strategy and methods to ensure success across the entire assigned market segment. 
  • Partner with Marketing to create strategies, marketing and enablement tools designed to support the above. 
  • Partner with the direct sales teams to maximize partner opportunities and minimize any conflict with partners. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • Great team builder, team member and leader who aligns to Diligent’s values.
  • “Player/coach” who can both direct activities and work directly with partners to drive alliances. 
  • 8-10 years of experience in partner/channel development, business development or strategic alliances in software or technology is strongly preferred. 
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, blending partner strategy and technology vision to deepen partner and client relationships, ability to align technology with business objectives. 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer or partner needs into compelling business solutions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex partnership agreements. 
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple partnerships simultaneously to fruition. 
  • Ability to engage, influence and communicate successfully with senior executives.   
  • Ability to quickly understand solution value proposition and communicate to audiences of varying expertise.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross functionally. 
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. 
  • Travel availability.

FLSA Status: Exempt

U.S pay range
$170,000$220,000 USD
