We're looking for a Director, Social Marketing & Strategy to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Head of Social Marketing & Strategy, you will lead the way with a radically collaborative crew that values audacious thinking. We want challengers who know what it takes to command attention, architect fandoms and never lose sight of even the smallest of details when it comes to opportunities for impact.

 

  • You will collaborate with teams to develop social media marketing strategies and partner with the creative leads to push the work to be strategic and culturally relevant.
  • You will managing a team to deliver brand right social campaigns that achieve predetermined KPIs.
  • You will help lead our client relationships and develop collaborative ways of working to provide strategic guidance and points of view.
  • You will both oversees and do as you push work forward, adding opportunities and identifying ways to make the work better.
  • You will provide expertise on the latest social media tactics and opportunities, including delivering social insights to lead campaigns that achieve our goals and that engage qualified consumers to the brand.
  • You will oversee social media campaigns, ensuring that all social media best practices and tactics are integrated into the annual master marketing plan, important brand projects, and seasonal campaigns.
  • 6 years minimum experience
  • Agency experience being a daily to lead on client business and have developed client relationships
  • Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
  • You can turn recommendations into ideas, then into actions.
  • You can lead and partner across departments, and create solutions whether it comes to the work itself or identifying new and improved ways of working.
  • You can develop strategies and briefs that are grounded in insights and crack client problems in new ways.
  • You have experience with social analytics and how to optimize social content accordingly.
  • You can identify cultural moments and trends worth activating against.
  • You can lead the development of team members to create an environment that encourages active participation, creativity, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Only candidates in the Chicago, IL area will be considered as some in-office and client time expected.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
