Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Social Media and Influencer Marketing to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance Myntra's brand presence, engage our community, and drive traffic and sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing social media channels, influencer partnerships, and content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media and influencer marketing strategy aligned with Myntra’s brand objectives.
- Identify key trends, insights, and best practices in social media and influencer marketing to keep Myntra at the forefront of the industry.
- Social Media Management:
- Oversee the management of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), ensuring consistent brand messaging and high engagement levels.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote new product launches, sales, and other marketing initiatives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media channels and campaigns, using insights to optimize future efforts.
- Influencer Marketing:
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors.
- Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with influencers, ensuring they align with budget and brand guidelines.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the content and creative teams to produce engaging and high-quality content for social media and influencer campaigns.
- Ensure all content aligns with Myntra’s brand voice, aesthetic, and values.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing social media and influencer marketing team.(Approx Team size 8-10)
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging new ideas and approaches.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:
- Work closely with other departments, including Category , Corporate communications, product, and customer service, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
- Coordinate with external agencies and partners as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing social media channels and influencer partnerships for a major brand.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
