Our partner is looking for a Director of Self-Funded & Stop Loss Products in Madison, WI. This role will oversee strategic planning and implementation for self-funded and stop-loss health plan products, developing a competitive health plan portfolio to deliver value to brokers and employers. The Director will manage the full product life cycle from strategy to execution with a focus on differentiation and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product roadmaps, addressing pricing, marketing, and placement strategies.
- Lead new product introductions by coordinating resources across departments.
- Create solutions that add value for employer groups and brokers, setting the products apart in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with external vendors to implement a best-in-class suite of value-added services.
- Build strong relationships with customers, industry experts, vendor partners, and consultants to pursue innovation.
- Support strategic planning efforts as part of the leadership team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in the health care industry.
- 3+ years in management or leadership.
- Proven experience in developing competitive health plan strategies and introducing new products.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of product development, financial analysis, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and market research.
- Expertise in health care funding arrangements and group health products.
- Strong team leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus among stakeholders.
Benefits
Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $124,600 - $213,600, dependent on experience and qualifications.
