The Sales Activation team within Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) unit creates, delivers, and champions initiatives that directly and significantly impact sales performance and scorecard goals. The function combines the competencies of sales strategy, program delivery, performance management, program management, enablement, and propensity relevance to drive business results. The Director of Sales Activation will lead the charge in ensuring our vast populations of sellers have access to the most compelling, relevant, and impactful content to help them sell more effectively and efficiently, and will work in close collaboration with partners across various functions to drive sales performance. The role will operate globally, supporting each of Visa’s key regions including North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Central Europe, Middle East and Africa. The individual will play a critical role in helping to create strong connective tissue between regional and global teams through managing the development and delivery of sales programs and scalable best practices, tools and resources.
The Director of Sales Activation reports to the Senior Director of Sales Activation and will interface directly with our sales teams to understand and solve for the unique business challenges associated with the availability of sales-related content across Visa. The position requires a seasoned professional with a broad, well-rounded set of skills, a high level of energy, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
An ideal candidate is passionate about being an integral part of evolving Visa’s Sales Readiness strategy and is committed to ensuring our global stakeholders have access to impactful sales motion programs and resources. They will possess a deep understanding of sales methodologies and proven experience partnering with and inspiring sales teams at the Regional Leader, Functional Leader, VP and Account Executive level. With a strong bias for action, our candidate will be a highly effective program leader, excellent communicator, and have well established relationships with sales, go-to-market, enablement, marketing, and product teams. They will feel empowered to challenge the status quo, and be comfortable leveraging data paired with seller feedback to pivot quickly and enact changes where needed.
Success in this position will result in the wholesale enablement of our teams with access to world class materials to help us differentiate Visa with our diverse customer base. Our sales teams will be bursting with gratitude as this individual will drastically decrease their non-selling time and make it unanimously easier to sell our solutions! This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications
•10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years
of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at
least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of
work experience with a PhD
•Proven experience (5+ years) creating content, preferably for a highly matrixed,
world-class sales organization
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,700.00 to 212,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
