Are you passionate about creating compelling product positioning and driving the successful adoption of semiconductor products for cloud & AI infrastructure?
We are seeking a highly skilled director to lead the product marketing efforts for our Scorpio Smart Fabric Switch and Leo CXL Smart Memory Controller portfolios. As a key member of our marketing team, you will report directly to the AVP of Product Line Management with high visibility to the executive team, customers, media and analysts. You will be responsible for go-to-market planning and execution to ensure successful product adoption and revenue growth.
Based in Santa Clara, this position requires an in-person presence with travel to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies and plans across multiple high-speed semiconductor and hardware connectivity products
- Define compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market and resonates with our target customers
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product line management, engineering, sales, and corporate marketing to align on product roadmap, features, and launch plans
- Lead the development of high-impact marketing collateral including presentations, blogs, whitepapers, and case studies to support product sales and adoption
- Develop engaging cross-product sales enablement collateral, perform regular training sessions with customer-facing teams and support strategic sales activities
- Drive product launches and promotions, ensuring successful execution and measurable impact on product revenue and market share
- Serve as a product evangelist internally and externally, representing our products at industry events, conferences, press/analyst presentations and customer engagements
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- 12+ years of experience in product line management or product marketing roles within the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of launching and marketing successful semiconductor products
- Deep understanding of PCIe, CXL or Ethernet technologies and their applications in cloud and AI infrastructure
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive consensus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable impact and achieving business objectives
- Experience working with customers and partners to understand their needs and drive product adoption
- Experience with customer negotiation and influencing successful pricing strategies
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, industry events, and conferences
The base salary range is $192,000 USD - $260,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
