The C3 AI Ex Machina team has an immediate opening for a Director of Product Marketing for C3 AI Ex Machina.

C3 AI Ex Machina is a cloud-based, no-code AI application that allows business users to blend and prepare data, perform advanced analytics, and build machine learning models without needing to write code.

This role is responsible for taking the C3 AI Ex Machina product to market. You will define the messaging and positioning for the product and help develop pricing and packaging.  In your role as Director of Product Marketing, C3 AI Ex Machina, you will be an expert in the advanced analytics, machine learning, and enterprise AI industry landscape.  You will build a deep understanding of our customers and users, their product evaluation, and purchasing criteria, and will synthesize this knowledge in a timely and actionable manner with your colleagues in sales, marketing, and product management.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with analytic and problem-solving capabilities, a compelling storyteller, and able to communicate complex concepts using simple, differentiated messaging.  Product and technical curiosity are a must as is the ability to successfully navigate ambiguity while driving clarity and influencing decisions in a highly dynamic, cross-functional environment.  This position reports to the General Manager for C3 AI Ex Machina.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and partner with Product Management to define market opportunities and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Create and execute the go-to-market plans for product launches and releases.
  • Develop and track key product and business metrics to evaluate and grow your business.
  • Develop compelling and easy-to-understand product content for Sales and Presales including sales training on product, positioning, competitive analyses, FAQs, and sales playbooks.
  • Develop compelling external product content including data sheets and case studies, website content, blogs, webinars, solution guides, product launches, etc.
  • Work closely with Sales and Presales to inspire, motivate, and ultimately win customer business through the sales cycle; develop trusted relationships with customers and users through the sales cycle.
  • Identify and implement strategies to drive bookings and user growth for C3 AI Ex Machina.
  • Work with marketing to develop and run compelling campaigns that create awareness and drive pipeline.
  • Effectively and proactively communicate with customers and build a trusted advisor relationship.
  • Understand and codify how customers define success and work directly with them to help achieve their advanced analytics and machine learning goals.
  • Design pricing, packaging, and go-to-market coverage models.
  • Drive the annual and quarterly business review process for the C3 AI Ex Machina business.
  • Present with authority at industry conferences, panels, and customer and internal events.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in product marketing in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Excellent written communication and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Ability to juggle projects simultaneously, working both independently and collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in advanced analytics and basic machine learning.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to translate technical product capabilities into compelling customer benefits.
  • Experience managing and developing new product marketing programs with clear data-driven results.
  • Experience managing and researching product positioning, competitive analysis, and product pricing.
  • Ability to develop product strategy and execute against strategic plans.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with sales, marketing, and product management to achieve results.
  • Experience working directly with customers to understand and respond to their needs.
  • Bachelor's degree required from a 4-year university.
  • MBA degree preferred.

  • Salary range: $184,000 - $237,000 USD.
