At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.
Our Mapping organization's charter is to ensure every ride is completed in a reliable and delightful manner. The Mapping team's mandate is to ensure all aspects of the Rider and Driver experience are delivered to the highest standards of customer obsession. The bar is high: customers talk about the one ride that did not go well, not thousands of rides that went well.
The focus for the Mapping team is to build innovative solutions to provide the best ride experience for both our Riders and Drivers. Lyft's Mapping team has a track record of building industry leading mapping solutions, including: effective and accurate navigation, right information at the right time on infotainment screen, accurate ETA prediction, smooth pickup and dropoff experience, and accurate traffic and closure information. With these building blocks in place, the team is looking for a leader to push the boundaries of what the mapping and ride experience should look like for Rideshare Drivers and Riders.
The Director, Product for Mapping will guide Lyft to bring innovation to our line of Mapping products, redefining what Mapping can do for Drivers and Riders. They will partner with engineering, science, design, UXR, and operations. This Director will be an inspiring people leader who can be a mentor, coach, and supporter to a team of experienced product managers, as well as for the entire Mapping team.
