The impact you’ll make
As the Director of Product Management on the PC Express Fulfillment Team, you will have an exciting opportunity to lead the team responsible for the PC Express technology and solutions that enable the in-store teams to manage capacity, perform and track fulfillment of orders, and integrate with 3rd party delivery providers. You will collaborate with a broad team of stakeholders across the organization to define and execute on the product vision and strategy, establish the roadmap, and collaborate with the design, engineering and store operations teams to bring that roadmap to life.
You will lead a team that ships products, features and experiences that offer millions of Canadians a delightful online grocery shopping experience.
What you’ll do
- Develop the product vision and product roadmap, leveraging a deep understanding of our business, customers, vendors, technology, and store teams, which aligns to internal business strategy and goals.
- Use your communication, collaboration and persuasion skills to manage stakeholder expectations, gain alignment on the product vision and get the support your team needs to succeed.
- Define and be accountable to goals and KPIs. Share progress and insights with key stakeholders.
- Be an effective people manager – lead, coach and manage a team of product managers and help elevate the overall product management practice within Loblaw Digital.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, technology, design, marketing, research, and customer service, to ensure that we build lean and scalable features with clear intent and at a high velocity.
- Foster a culture of speed, candor and curiosity to deliver top-quality efficient solutions for both our customers and in-store teams.
What You’ll Bring:
- You have 8+ years of hands-on experience leading the end-to-end creation and development of products, services, and experiences that deliver exceptional value within a fast-paced technology company.
- You have 5+ years of experience coaching and managing product teams of 3+ product managers and have a clear point of view on how to hire, retain and grow talent.
- You have experience within Fulfillment, Supply Chain, or a very similar function.
- You have some understanding of retail operations and process engineering.
- You understand and can teach others product management principles best practices.
- You have a track record of iterative product development and shipping high-integrity features.
- You have built strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a complex organization and influenced them to bring a product vision to life.
- You are a clear communicator with strong technical acumen, able to explain technical needs to a non-technical audience and vice-versa.
- You have a growth mindset – you know there’s always a better way to do things and are willing to disrupt the status quo.
- You can make difficult trade-off decisions while working in a fast paced, analytical and experimentation-driven environment.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- You can easily build relationships and are excited to be part of a cross functional team working to solve complex problems and build products of millions of Canadians.
