In an era where data-driven decisions are at the forefront of success in the world of sponsorship and marketing, we are seeking a user-obsessed product leader who will directly influence the next phase of our client's growth.

Our client, a sponsorship intelligence company, recognized the need to democratize access to credible and actionable insights that power data-driven decisions. They aim to cut through the noise by helping sponsorship marketers understand how people behave, feel, and react toward sponsorships. Their SaaS-based insights platform is used by thousands of sponsorship professionals globally, while they also provide consultative solutions to support some of the biggest brands, rightsholders, and agencies navigate the sponsorship journey.

The Director of Product will lead the product vision, strategy, and execution working closely with the CEO and CTO. While they continue to build on the momentum of their flagship data product, the product roadmap will reflect an ecosystem of data-driven insight products that deliver value to the modern-day marketer.

This is the right role for a product leader who wants to leave a lasting mark, enjoys going from macro strategy to micro execution, and who enjoys the challenge of balancing the needs of the business with those of the users. As the first product leader in the organization, you will have the opportunity to build the product mindset with the support of technology, customer success, growth, and revenue teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the product vision and strategy to deliver on the company’s mission to arm modern day marketers with insights to make decisions with confidence.
  • Create and own the product roadmap and collaborate with the CTO on resource needs and allocation to deliver. Prioritizing features and initiatives based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Customer Success team, and external customers to contribute to the discovery of key features that will drive business value and product usability.
  • Plan and execute product launches, including communication strategies, marketing campaigns, and customer education.
  • Focus on making the products more intuitive, consistent, and personalized – getting maketers the insight they need, faster.
  • Working with our design resources, you will brief the creation of mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes and proof of concepts that deliver on the product vision.
  • Determining and leading user validation and analysis where required and helping to refine the customer feedback loop.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of product initiatives.
  • Bring innovative and creative ideas to the team on ways to improve the user experience throughout the entire customer journey. Continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement, to drive product growth and competitiveness.
  • Participate in briefs with cross-functional team members on new feature rollouts or user experience improvements that will help improve the product, while providing your expertise on how to design, test, and refine designs before implementation.
  • Proactively manage the delivery of stories to the technical team for implementation to deliver on key product roadmap milestones.
