About the role
As the Director People Partner (HRBP), you will be a strategic partner to Zeta’s leadership, driving initiatives to scale the business while fostering a high-performance, innovation-driven culture. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders to create comprehensive people strategies that align with Zeta’s mission of shaping the future of banking technology.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute people strategies that support the rapid scaling of Zeta while maintaining a vibrant company culture. Lead the development and execution of strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
- Be a culture evangelist and ensure that decisions, processes, and practices align with the culture map
- Work with leaders to create a comprehensive people plan that is built for scale, keeping the business environment and priorities
- Drive change initiatives across the organization by assessing the talent implications of strategic decisions. Provide insights and solutions to support organizational transformation, ensuring that people-related initiatives are successfully implemented during periods of rapid growth and change.
- Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue. Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
- Utilize people analytics to address strategic and operational HR challenges, identifying trends that influence talent strategies and drive business outcomes.
- Own the people plan and drive outcomes through a strong partnership with Talent Acquisition, Employer branding and engagement, Rewards, and Talent Management team
- Coach and mentor different stakeholders right from giving strategic coaching to executives to helping employees plan their career path.
- Lead the People Operations team, overseeing onboarding, offboarding, MIS, shared services, and HR technology, ensuring seamless processes that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Experience and Qualification
- 12+ years of HRBP or generalist experience, with a proven track record of supporting leadership in high-growth tech environments, preferably in Fintech or Banking.
- A thought leader with deep, strategic expertise across core HR disciplines, including workforce planning, career management, leadership coaching, performance management, employee engagement, key talent identification and development. Proven ability to drive strategic development initiatives that align talent management with business objectives in a high-growth, tech-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders by presenting sound reasoning, backed by data and strategic insights, to drive people-related decisions.
- Organization engineering: Understands how an engineering organization functions, knowledge of engineering role, engineering practices. You know how engineers think, how to keep them engaged and motivated
- Experience in coaching and mentoring at all levels of the organization, especially in technical or engineering teams.
