We are seeking a Director, People Analytics to enhance our exceptional team. This role involves crafting and executing a robust People Analytics strategy, leading a team to deliver actionable insights and forward-thinking solutions to meet Klaviyo's people objectives. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, you will be instrumental in advancing our People Analytics capabilities, integrating data from various platforms like Culture Amp, Greenhouse, and Workday to create a comprehensive and secure analytical framework. Your mission is to transform data into compelling narratives that inform strategic decisions, driving organizational health and development.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven and passionate about using it for organizational success. You  should have a strong background in people analytics, with a proven ability to integrate and interpret data from various sources to craft compelling narratives and inform decision-making. This individual will excel in transforming insights into strategic actions, demonstrating a deep understanding of the impact of people data on business outcomes.

How you’ll drive impact:

  • Be a storyteller. Tell the narrative of what matters most with data and insights that drives Klaviyo further.
  • Using technical expertise to ensure we have a solution to bring together our engagement survey data (Culture Amp), recruiting data (Greenhouse), and People Data (Workday) in a secure manner. 
  • Monitor and recommend changes to improve data quality.
  • Implement regular and automated Organizational Health checks via dashboard and benchmarks and use the data to build a narrative, drive insights, and influence initiatives. 
  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of analytics teams. Apply expertise in people research and qualitative/quantitative analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing employee performance, engagement, diversity, management and leadership development, and retention.
  • Lead organizational wide change management initiatives and programs (in partnership and collaboration with COEs, HRBPs, etc.) including recognition & rewards, workforce location strategy, and/or other large scale cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Partner closely with Talent Management, L&D, and HRBPs to ensure engagement surveys are analyzed and presented to the business. Ensure our engagement survey data is connected back to talent management, learning, and DEI trends. 
  • Partner with the People Leadership team and support the Chief People Officer in preparations materials for Leadership Team and Board Meetings. 
  • Apply expertise in qualitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support against business priorities. Work with key stakeholders to determine the appropriate sentiment strategies via surveys or other research methods to deliver valuable business insights. Lead and implement survey design to measure sentiment across employee lifecycle.
  • Deliver high quality analysis, reports, presentations using simple and effective visualizations that can be scaled for consumption by a larger audience

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, Masters degree preferred (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of experience in a quantitative or analytics role within a Human Resources organization.
  • Experience leading and developing a team of people analytics professionals.
  • Expertise in collecting and using data to inform decision-making and persuade others. 
  • Prior experience working with a People Analytics tool such as Visier. Proficiency in Excel and other data tools is important. 
  • You are intellectually curious. You have strong analytical skills, proven experience understanding and effectively using data and metrics to implement processes/workflows. 
  • You enjoy building things and continually strive to do things better than the status quo. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis (regression, correlation, scenario analysis, forecasting, and experimentation (A/B) testing 
  • Willing to take on the tough projects and challenges to grow and develop. 

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$192,000$288,000 USD
