Director, Operations Product & Process (Montreal, QC)

About the team:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Operations Excellence & Continuous Improvement, the Director of Operations Product & Process will lead a high-performing team responsible for building and optimizing our end-to-end global operations across Supplier, Logistics and Transportation, Fulfillment Center (FC), Retail, and Studio functions, inclusive of all relevant systems, processes, and data captures at a transaction level. The incumbent is responsible for shaping Global Operations and Technology at SSENSE to drive a three-year roadmap enabling strategic initiatives across the company, inclusive of Customer Experience, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance. The incumbent will partner directly with Supply Chain Engineering leadership to design, develop, and deploy holistic operational solutions to deliver a best-in-class experience for SSENSE customers.

  • Performance & Optimization: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), drive cost efficiency programs, and manage risks to ensure operational excellence and achieve business targets.

 How To Excel In This Role:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.) with a Master's degree preferred; 10+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or engineering with a focus on continuous improvement and technology solutions.
  • Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams (7+ years of experience) within a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of operational technology systems (WMS, OMS, etc.) and experience with data analytics and process optimization.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and drive change management initiatives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in a high-growth e-commerce environment and knowledge of agile methodologies are preferred; Six Sigma or PMP certifications are assets.
