The Role:

DailyPay seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Operational Transformation to join our Operations team, focused on operational efficiency and risk management.

DailyPay continues to have significant growth throughout all of its operational teams, which have grown organically. This role is crucial in ensuring that operational teams are maximizing efficiency, planning for potential disruptions, and mitigating any risks that arise. The role will assist in identifying risks, recommending solutions, optimizing operational processes, and reporting to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will lead efforts in risk management, business continuity, operational efficiency, and process improvement across DailyPay’s business lines. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for defining repeatable processes and training operational teams to perform their own risk assessments and process optimization efforts.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Global Operations and will be hired at the Director Level.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Operational Excellence and Process Improvement

  • Create operational process inventory and evaluation framework
  • Improve measurement and tracking of SLAs and processes
  • Lead process assessment efforts including process mapping and opportunity evaluation
  • Identify automation opportunities & implement cost reduction strategies
  • Develop process documentation and KPI standards across teams
  • Reduce complexity and improve efficiency between operational teams

Risk Management

  • Design and implement a framework to plan for Operational Risk Events, in partnership with the Incident Management Team
  • Participate in 3rd Party Risk assessments and mitigation efforts
  • Support DailyPay’s Enterprise Risk Committee through project management and implementation of initiatives
  • Risk Rating Clients and Users - developing risk framework
  • Performing “light” reviews and Recommending controls

Business Continuity

  • Lead Business Continuity plan development, maintenance, and testing
  • Incorporate applicable Disaster Recovery activities into functional plans
  • Lead Emergency Preparedness efforts across the company

Reporting and Stakeholder Management

  • Assist in vendor contract review approvals
  • Reporting and collaborating with key vendors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Keep management informed of emerging risks

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in operations, risk management, fraud investigation, accounting or finance
  • Data driven decision making
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced tech company environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong and cross-functional communication
  • Subject Matter Expertise related to Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Operational Excellence
  • Ability to create and develop internal operating procedures and track metrics

Pay Transparency.  DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
