The Sales Director - Online Automotive will be responsible for leading our sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, building a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth in the online automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the online automotive market.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment, with a focus on building the team.
- Sales Team Building: Recruit and build a strong sales team, ensuring it is well-equipped to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Client Acquisition: Oversee client acquisition efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding our customer base.
- Revenue Growth: Set ambitious revenue targets, monitor progress, and take proactive steps to achieve and exceed sales goals within the automotive sector.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the online automotive sector to drive informed decision-making.
- Sales Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales team and make data-driven improvements within the automotive industry.
- Sales Collateral: Develop and manage sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the online automotive market with the Marketing Department.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategies within the automotive sector.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the sales department, tracking and reporting on financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- [7] years of experience in senior sales roles, with a strong preference for candidates with a proven track record in the automotive industry.
- Extensive experience in sales leadership, client acquisition, managing teams and exceeding revenue targets in the online automotive sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of online automotive market dynamics and industry trends is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis, sales forecasting, and budget management.
