Director of Retail Ecommerce Operations

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ecommerce operations, from product development to marketing and design, with the objective of maximizing speed, minimizing costs, and delivering unparalleled service. Working closely with our dedicated teams, you will guide and empower them to make customer-focused decisions, thereby enhancing the customer journey and driving revenue growth.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall ecommerce operations, including product development, marketing, and design teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the ecommerce supply chain, improving speed and reducing costs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring seamless shopping experiences and resolving any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of ecommerce operations.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as logistics providers and technology vendors, to ensure the smooth running of ecommerce operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce and retail, and proactively identify new opportunities and emerging technologies to enhance operations and drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in ecommerce operations, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading ecommerce operations, driving revenue growth, and improving customer experience.
  • Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, various leading e-Commerce website builders (e.g. Shopify)
  • SEO, eMerchandizing and UX/UI experience
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce supply chain management, including product development, marketing, and design.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
