Summary:

ZipRecruiter is looking for a Director of Product to lead the Job Seeker Experience Product org. We aim to ensure a highly engaging job seeker experience, optimizing for retention, engagement, and satisfaction. You will develop and execute upon a strategy and roadmap and play a key role in our Job Seeker product leadership team. Your area of ownership will include all the touch points of the job seeker journey (registration and onboarding, home product, messaging, and mobile apps). 

By working side by side with our executive, engineering, research, design, analytics, matching, and data teams, you will help millions of people get hired each year. You can't be afraid of rolling up your sleeves; as a part of the ZipRecruiter Product team, you need to dive into the details of our product and be passionate about solving problems and building delightful experiences. 

Key Focus Areas:

• Mentor and lead a team of Product Leads and Product Managers
• Establish the product vision and strategy for the Job Seeker Experience team, as well as develop metrics and goals to measure success 
• Build alignment across product teams (including data and matching teams), cross-functional partners, and leadership
• Identify, validate, and prioritize a balanced roadmap of short-term and long-term bets 
• Manage project execution and define go-to-market strategy and communications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of product management experience with 3+ years in people manager roles with proven ability to uplevel talent
• Experience leading and driving product roadmaps with proven leadership in cross-functional team management, driving execution, and enhancing team productivity
• Work efficiently by building minimum viable products and measure, learn, and iterate in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of product management experience with 4+ years in people manager roles with proven ability to uplevel talent
• Technical skillset to talk shop and work closely with our engineering team, especially with ML based products
• Proven experience working on data focused product roles
• Customer-centric outlook with a focus on the customer experience, proven ability to build transformative experiences and deliver value to users

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,500-$280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
