The Director of Placement is accountable for the success of the clinical placement sourcing function and team for Keypath Education. This key leadership role involves collaborating with educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and social service agencies to ensure a seamless and effective clinical placement process for students in relevant programs.

The Director will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clinical partners while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and educational standards.

The Director is also responsible for leading and collaborating with internal stakeholders, delivering operational and functional excellence while overseeing a growing placement team.

The primary purpose of this role is to drive significant growth in revenue for the clinical portfolio of programs. This will be done through leading the development of complex programs with Keypath partner universities in Australia and Asia Pacific and contributing to placement performance.

This role is accountable for developing, deploying, and managing key internal operational placement procedures. This role uses data to inform, influence, and evolve procedures to infuence outcomes and meet key objectives with internal and external stakeholders.

Management duties include leading managers and individual contributor roles, staffing assignments, performance management, and team culture and engagement.

This is a hands-on business-building role, the Director will need to bring a balance of strategy and operational discipline, while managing the day-to-day teams.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, innovative, health professional with extensive university experience in building cross-functional teams, innovating to scale operations/business, exposure take accountability for growing and innovating a large and varied portfolio of placements within health programs.

  • Demonstrated management experience directly managing large teams
  • Relevant academic qualifications in their original discipline, with additional study education more broadly and/or demonstrated experience in social services and/or allied health settings
  • Minimum 5 years' experience at Senior Sales level role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the healthcare placement industry and/or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, financial management skills and entrepreneurial drive
  • Proven experience in meeting sales goals and developing successful strategies to drive performance
  • Experience with managing programs through university internal accreditation processes or equivalent quality assurance reviews and approvals in clinical settings or practices
  • Experience working outside of the university sector, eg practiced in their health profession, run their own business, served in professional roles working cross-functionally, etc.
  • Technical and reporting proficiency with an ability to train other leaders to the same level of proficiency
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
