The Lighthouse, a division of Whalar Group, is a first-of-its-kind Campus for Creators and their teams to learn, make, and belong. To meet the ever-changing needs of creators and the evolving Creator Economy, The Lighthouse combines learning and development programs, state-of-the-art production studios, workspaces, cultural and social events, mentorship programs, and an academy — a space designed for the creator community to gather and thrive. Open to established and emerging creators through an application process, The Lighthouse is set to debut in Venice, California, and Brooklyn, New York, in Spring/Summer 2024, with plans for London in late 2025.
As the Senior Director of People, Diversity, and Inclusion for The Lighthouse, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of HR for both the LA and NY properties. Your primary focus will be on fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. This includes managing teams, employee relations, talent acquisition, diversity initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000 and serves as a general guideline reflecting the potential compensation for the role. The final salary offer will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as the candidate's experience, expertise, alignment with the position's requirements, and ultimately budget approvals.
