What is the Role?
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of People Operations will scale the US People Operations function to support significant ARR and headcount growth in the coming years. He/she/they will be operationally oriented strategic thinker who has ideally, but not limited to, worked for high growth technology companies that has scaled from Series C/$15M ARR to IPO/$100M ARR. The Director of People Operations will be a trusted advisor playing a key role in helping to foster and improve a thriving culture at AiDash. This team member will have strong knowledge and practical experience across the spectrum of human resource-related functions and will be a respected resource for all People Operation matters. He/she/they will be a player/coach with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" style who is excited to build a team within a rapidly growing company.

  • Partner with leadership to take business strategy and transform it into meaningful and executable People initiatives.
  • Lead all aspects of US People Operations including business partnership, operations, and talent acquisition.
  • Build and mentor a team to support a rapidly scaling technology company.
  • Leverage data, analytics, benchmarking, and industry insights to inform and enhance business decision-making.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to drive overall job satisfaction and organizational performance.
  • Continue to improve and shape the company culture and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO. Advise leadership on regulations, policies, and best practices to minimize risk and exposure.
  • Manage compensation programs, including compensation analysis, job design and descriptions, and classification. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring ranges, equity and compression, and market-related challenges.
  • Create learning and development programs for the company surrounding employee retention that are aligned to an employee career pathing framework.
  • Manage health and welfare benefit programs including vendor relationships, renewals, annual open enrollment, and compliance.

What we are looking for?

  • 8+ years of HR experience.
  • Hands-on proactive leader with high EQ, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to get things done.
  • Functional expertise across the majority (if not all) areas of HR, including Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Talent and Performance Management, Employee Experience, Learning and Development, Benefits and Compensation and Employee Relations.
  • Prior management experience and passion for developing others.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture where the business is constantly evolving.
  • Data-driven individual.
  • Self-starter, willing to learn and implement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build trust at all organizational levels and work collaboratively to solve problems.
  • Ability to think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, and proactively suggest short and long-term solutions as appropriate.
