About the role
- In this role, you will be leading the operations for YASSIR services in your region.
Documentation and creating efficient, scalable systems are your thing. People love working with you because you make everyone’s life easier and you always know the status of projects. You are a very good problem solver with hustle and customer facing skills and can effortlessly switch back and forth between planning & execution.
You must be highly analytical, ROI-focused with a strong track record of driving meaningful growth and engagement, ideally for a direct-to-consumer or B2B service.
The position demands both a keen business sense, strong planning and multi-tasking skills to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work in a matrixed country organization, is relentlessly passionate about growing and engaging with partners and customers
Tasks :
- A mission critical leader in the country, working closely with the Global Head of Operations to guarantee supply and leverage deep analytical insights to deliver high impact results.
- Analytics and data drive everything we do: strategy, decisions and people.
- Design innovative processes to on-board partners, manage utilization and ensure partner satisfaction.
- Oversee a core component of rideshare operations with multiple teams and departments reporting to you.
- Manage operational execution, metrics, and project deliverables across these teams.
- Continuously move metrics in the right direction through process improvement, experimentation, learning, and iteration.
- Set the long-term vision for the rideshare space at Yassir.
- Build the strategy to differentiate from the competition and attract, engage and retain partners.
- Build, develop and lead a team of passionate people
- Advocate passionately for our drivers. Understand their needs, experiences, pain points, and motivation. Treat them as customers and be their voice in the room across all key decisions.
- Quarterback cross-functional efforts that improve the delivery partner experience across product, business development, marketing, policy, legal, and communications.
- Define the hiring needs for your teams and recruit top Ops talent to fill these roles

Team management
- Lead a team, provide technical and professional development and establishing succession planning
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the local team
- Overall responsible for the team’s performance in the department
What You’ll Need
- A degree in statistics, commerce or management or any equivalent experience
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a managerial position within the operations, logistics field, ideally for a marketplace.
- Passion for Analytics: great analytical thinker with deep data analysis to help design solutions and optimize fleet utilization.
- Hunger to get things done: Super strong project management skills, with a focus on proactively finding practical solutions to problems
- Leader: need to be that person who can take the first step, inspire a room full of people to surpass themselves, and build a loyal community

- Experience abroad or in a multinational is a plus but nor required.
