Job Description
We are seeking a multi-talented and dynamic Director of Operations and Marketing to oversee and optimize the operational and marketing functions of our growing startup. This unique role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that both our day-to-day operations and marketing initiatives run smoothly and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both marketing tactics and operational efficiency and be comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment. This job description reflects the multi-faceted nature of the role, where the Director of Operations and Marketing would need to balance operational efficiency with strategic marketing efforts, essential for growing a startup.
Develop and implement efficient operational systems to streamline business processes and improve productivity across the company.
Oversee day-to-day operations including HR, legal, finance, and logistics, ensuring effective resource allocation, team coordination, and operational efficiency.
Lead operational planning, including budget management, vendor relationships, and logistics coordination.
Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, implementing solutions that enhance scalability.
Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between departments like sales, marketing, product development, and customer support.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Set and monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that the company is achieving its business goals.
Regularly report on operational performance and provide recommendations for optimizing processes.
Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
Create and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels (email, social media, content marketing, etc.), as well as offline channels when appropriate.
Ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the overall business strategy and revenue goals.
Develop and maintain the company’s brand voice, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
Oversee content creation, including website management, blogs, product collateral, and other marketing materials.
Implement data-driven marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads for the sales team.
Track and analyze marketing performance, using metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC), making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
