Director of Omnichannel Engagement

We’re searching for a highly-skilled Director of Omnichannel Engagement  to contribute to Double Good’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have experience establishing and driving comprehensive digital and omnichannel engagement strategies for all business units with an eye on consistency across communication channels. This requires significant management skills that can be difficult without previous managerial cross-functional collaboration and ability to ensure all touchpoints are strategically aligned.

This role will be hybrid - you will be based out of our downtown Chicago office but may be required to visit our Burr Ridge and Elmhurst locations to ensure connectedness and understanding of our business.

About the role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business objectives and goals and align digital and omnichannel strategic plans/ initiatives to support them 
  • Upon strategy development and alignment, role will collaborate with the Director of Project Management and outside resources to be responsible for executing digital and omnichannel campaigns and initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in digital and omnichannel engagement, and continuously identify new opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of digital and omnichannel initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to leverage their expertise and resources for digital and omnichannel initiatives
  • Develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
  • Manage media relations including building contacts with media members, influencers and community leaders
  • Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio and print content

Experience & skills we value:

  • Proven work experience as a  Director of Omnichannel Engagement or similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
  • Understand principles of copywriting, graphic design, layout and publishing
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline is preferred

Nice to have and/or you’ll learn: 

  • Strong interpersonal, the ability to influence stakeholders and keep projects on time 
  • Experience in maintaining and building enriching business relationships
  • Ability to handle pressure and make split-second decisions
  • Impeccable copywriting and copy editing abilities
  • Critical communications experience managing emergencies such as crises or setbacks with an eye on consistency across releases
  • Bachelor’s degree
