Director of Information Systems

Greenhouse is looking for a Director of Information Systems!

Reporting to our Head of Technology, you will lead the company into its next stage of growth and make your mark within an IT organization at a maturing tech company.  

You will be responsible for the smooth operation and optimization of all IT-related activities across our fully remote workforce based in multiple countries. This includes overseeing our IT infrastructure, IT Support function, an entire suite of Business Systems, and working closely with other departments to address their technology needs and ensure they align with the company strategy and goals. A key part of this role will be innovating and identifying where Greenhouse can automate repetitive IT tasks and scale our company business systems as the industry transitions towards automation through AI.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT processes, systems, and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address technology needs across the organization.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of all IT systems
  • Work closely with our Procurement team to manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure the best value and service.
  • Work closely with our Security team to enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Work closely with different departments to understand their IT needs and deliver appropriate technology solutions.
  • Analyze and forecast future technology needs and costs across the business.

You should have

  • Technology leadership experience (experience leading an IT and Business Systems department)
  • A deep understanding of modern IT organizations, networking concepts, and operating systems (we’re primarily a Mac shop) 
  • A customer-service mindset 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Finance and Sales business systems (Netsuite, SFDC, etc.)
  • Experience automating IT and business processes
  • ITIL certification, nice to have 
  • SaaS environment experience, nice to have

The national pay range for this role is $201,800 - $302,700 annually. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to thNothing, I'm stinkye role.
