About the role
We are looking for a Director of Growth to lead our growth marketing activities across organic channels (i.e. SEO, website) and lifecycle marketing (CRM). You will take ownership of improving the customer lifecycle from acquisition to conversion and retention through these channels, and play a critical role in accelerating demand generation for Builder.ai.  You will be passionate about full funnel customer journeys, data analysis and optimization of growth activities to improve efficiency and conversion rates. You will lead and grow a high performing, data driven team, and partner closely with various functions including sales, marketing, product and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a growth marketing strategy for all non-paid channels to drive customer acquisition, activation and retention and reach our ambitious growth targets
  • Optimize the customer lifecycle across the funnel, leveraging various channels including organic acquisition (SEO, referrals, network effects), website and email marketing 
  • Organic Growth: 
    • Develop and implement SEO and organic growth hacking strategies globally, to drive exponential growth for our products and services
    • Own the KPIs for organic leads and revenue, working closely with key stakeholders to clear organic growth blockers
    • Identify growth opportunities and innovative SEO tactics by exploring cutting-edge strategies and techniques to boost our search engine rankings.
    • Expand organic growth through multi-format (text, videos, reels, etc) and multi-channel (Search, YouTube, Social channels, etc) approach
  • Lifecycle marketing:
    • Design, build, execute a multi channel communications strategy to help drive marketing influenced pipeline
    • Drive acquisition, retention, upsell and win-back, improving conversion rates across each customer lifecycle stage
    • Work with Product Marketing to identify distinct customer segments and buyer personas, leveraging the CRM and martech to create highly personalised comms 
  • Growth Engineering / Website:
    • Own the maintenance and optimization of the Builder Marketing website, ensuring best in class site health metrics 
    • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product and CRO teams to optimize the customer journey, engagement and conversion rates on the website
    • Identify, test and roll out website improvements with a focus on messaging, pricing and UX.
  • Content:  collaborate with the Content team to develop a data driven content strategy to support growth activities, especially website / SEO content
  • Analytics: define a measurement framework for organic growth and lifecycle activities, and partner with the analytics team to measure and optimize KPIs including website traffic and engagement, demand generated from organic sources, ROI and conversion metrics 
  • Build a culture of experimentation; adopt a continual ‘test and learn’ approach to all growth activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, analytics and finance, to ensure alignment between growth marketing efforts and overall business objectives.
  • Lead, motivate and grow the existing team of 10, foster a collaborative and results-driven culture aligned with our company values.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading growth marketing in a fast growing tech company, with particular emphasis on organic growth / SEO and lifecycle marketing (CRM)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant quantitative field preferred
  • Experience with building an organic growth engine including experiments, tracking, automation, and optimisation, and delivering on ambitious growth targets
  • Expertise in various growth channels including organic acquisition (SEO, referrals, network effects), website, email marketing and product experiments
  • Expert knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques, and search technology, including the content strategy and technical optimization side
  • Knowledge of multi-format content distribution to drive organic traffic growth 
  • Experience in leading lifecycle management and engagement strategies that drove improvements in acquisition, retention, cross sell, up sell and Marketing ROI.
  • Strong strategy and analytics skills with an advanced understanding of growth success metrics and funnel analytics
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools - i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce
  • Proficient in Google Analytics (GA4) and Looker Studio, and familiarity with other content marketing and SEO tools (e.g. SEMRush)
