Role Summary
The Director of Growth is a key driver of eJam’s marketing performance, reporting to the Brand Leader and collaborating within a matrixed team structure to deliver impactful campaigns. In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing initiatives across performance channels, ensuring alignment with brand goals and growth objectives. You will guide campaign development, optimize performance through data-driven insights, and manage retention strategies to enhance customer lifetime value.
This position requires a detail-oriented and innovative marketer with 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, retention strategies, and performance optimization. Success in this role will depend on your ability to influence, innovate, and execute in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Collaborate closely with the Brand Leader to align marketing initiatives with overall brand strategy and objectives.
- Lead campaign development, working across media buying, creative, and analytics functions to ensure high-quality execution.
- Oversee retention marketing strategies, including SMS, email, and subscriptions, to deepen customer engagement and drive loyalty.
- Analyze campaign performance data and make optimization recommendations to improve engagement, ROI, and growth outcomes.
- Explore emerging technologies and media channels, including AI, to stay ahead of digital marketing trends and enhance campaign performance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across marketing functions to align efforts and ensure cohesive execution within a matrixed structure.
- Present campaign insights and actionable recommendations to the Brand Leader and senior stakeholders.

- Campaign Optimization: Use performance metrics to inform adjustments, ensuring campaigns achieve or exceed KPIs and ROI targets.
- Innovation and Channel Expansion: Identify and implement emerging digital media opportunities, including AI and new platforms, to enhance reach and engagement.
- Matrixed Collaboration: Work across internal teams, including media buying, creative strategy, and analytics, to deliver seamless campaign execution.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Brand Leader on campaign performance, insights, and growth opportunities.

- Experience: 8+ years in digital marketing, with a proven track record in performance marketing, retention strategies, and data-driven optimization.
- Leadership in a Matrixed Environment: Experience influencing and collaborating across teams without direct oversight.
- Retention Marketing Expertise: Strong background in SMS, email, and subscription channels, with a history of driving customer loyalty and lifetime value.
