Director of Enterprise SSD and NAND Business Development – China & Asia

We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Director of Enterprise SSD Business Development to lead and expand our Enterprise SSD and NAND solutions across China and Asia. The successful candidate will focus on driving growth in local data centers, enterprise environments, and large government projects throughout the region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the China and Asian markets, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory challenges, and a proven track record of working with key stakeholders in these sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy to increase the adoption of Enterprise SSD and NAND products across China and Asia, focusing on enterprise and data center sectors.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in government, large enterprises, and data center operators across China and Asia.
  • Identify, assess, and capture business opportunities in government projects, including public sector digital transformation initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive forces in the Enterprise SSD and NAND space, driving strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure tailored solutions for local market needs.
  • Navigate the regulatory landscape across China and Asian countries, ensuring compliance and alignment with local standards and policies.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local distributors, technology integrators, and service providers to extend market reach and penetration.
  • Lead high-value contract negotiations and ensure mutually beneficial agreements with long-term business potential.
  • Regularly report on market performance, identify growth areas, and adjust business strategies as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the technology, enterprise solutions, or data center sectors.
  • Proven success working in China and Asia, with an in-depth understanding of the market dynamicsregulatory landscape, and key stakeholders in the region.
  • Extensive experience working with local data centersenterprise environments, and government projects across China and Asia.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Enterprise SSD and NAND memory technology and its application in the enterprise and data center market.
  • Established network of industry contacts within government agencies, enterprises, and key players in China and Asia.
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiating and securing high-value contracts with a strategic and long-term perspective.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills across multicultural teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and/or other regional languages is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working on public sector technology projects and digital infrastructure initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data privacy lawscybersecurity regulations, and other relevant policies in China and other Asian markets.
  • Expertise in emerging markets within Southeast Asia and the unique opportunities they present for Enterprise SSD and NAND business expansion.
