Director of engineering, Mobile
About this role:
We are offering a truly unique opportunity to lead Via’s state of the art mobile apps.
We do extraordinary things at Via. We build apps that are used by millions, we build navigation apps, we build dozens of branded apps through an innovative app generation “factory”, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The Head of Mobile will be responsible for crafting products, technology and delivery. Your day to day involves putting together strategic plans, designing architecture, code reviewing, promoting testing automation and full CI, managing and recruiting brilliant people, leading and mentoring other mobile engineering teams, and constantly learning. You will ensure high quality deliveries with automated test suites, monitoring solutions, CI pipelines.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll lead the mobile teams in building our mobile products.You’ll also manage the day-to-day activities of the team, initiating projects and improving processes.
You will think, design and be in charge of executing the great products developed by your teams.
