As our Director of Enabling Technology, you’ll be at the forefront of this mission, pioneering ways to use technology to create meaningful, lasting impact for the people we serve. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the expectation that the candidate resides within a reasonable driving distance of one of our offices in VT, CT, MA, MD, or NH. Some travel to these offices will be required to maintain team connectivity and support onsite needs.

What You’ll Do
Direct Service & Assessment:
- Work directly with individuals we support to identify technology that could enhance their quality of life.
- Familiarize yourself with the regulatory and funding landscape across our service regions, ensuring the best options for each person’s needs.
- Develop criteria and prioritize assessments to maximize resources and impact.
System Development & Implementation:
- Design and propose an agency-wide system for assessing and implementing enabling technology at the program level.
- Identify required roles and create a structured plan and budget for establishing in-house technology solutions.
- Once approved, lead the roll-out and oversee the smooth implementation of this transformative system.
Partnership Coordination:
- Cultivate relationships with key partners, such as the Southern Connecticut State University technology program and CT ATECH, to broaden access to resources and services.
- Network with technology providers to stay informed on the latest offerings that can benefit Aspire’s mission.
- Work with state officials to navigate regulatory and funding requirements, helping ensure the sustainability and growth of our enabling technology initiative.
Qualifications

Experience & Expertise in technology applications in human services, project management, or a similar field.

Collaboration Skills to work effectively with internal leaders and external partners.

Commitment to Learning and staying up-to-date on technological advances and industry trends.

Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory background checks.
