The  Director of EMEA Partnerships at Sigma is responsible for developing and managing the company's relationships with EMEA Ecosystem and Channel partners to expand market reach, drive sales, and achieve revenue growth & strategic goal. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, Sales DNA, and a deep understanding of the SaaS industry and market dynamics.

The Director of EMEA Partnerships is tasked with creating, developing and managing Sigma’s partner strategy and relationships. 

  • Co-own EMEA Partner Strategy Development. Working with the VP of EMEA & the VP of Partnerships, you will be co-responsible for defining the overall EMEA Partnership strategy. This includes deciding which types of partners to engage with, the target market segments, and the geographic regions where partnerships will be most effective.
  • Partner Recruitment - Identifying and recruiting new partners who can effectively sell & represent Sigma’s products or services. This may involve evaluating potential partners' capabilities, market reach, and alignment with the company's goals.
  • Relationship Management. Building and maintaining strong relationships with Sigma’s partners, including regular communication, collaboration on joint marketing campaigns, and addressing any issues or concerns that partners may have.
  • Evangelize, enable, and execute go-to-market strategies with Sigma’s Partners
  • Build and socialize joint solutions with the Sigma Partners, and nurture new programs and opportunities through our sales team to deepen our Partnerships, resulting in increased referrals and co-sells.
  • Collaborate with the Sigma sales and marketing team to support events that enable and bolster our co-sell efforts
  • Host partner appreciation events to identify and expedite co-sell opportunities
  • Co-own support materials for various programs and initiatives with Partners to enhance the top-of-funnel pipeline
  • Regularly meet with sales and sales leadership
  • Track, measure, and report on agreed KPIs using Sigma for Sales and Partner management.

Qualifications we are looking for: 

  • 10+ years of Sales, Alliances, and/or business development experience in the Cloud/Technology Ecosystem, leadership experience is a bonus
  • Sales DNA and a deep passion for being curious - always diving deeper to uncover how we can better partner and differentiate Sigma to generate new opportunities
  • Team Player that supports and works with internal and external teams & stakeholders
  • Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use
  • A genuine interest in the Modern data stack & Cloud ecosystem
  • Be prepared to be flexible and dynamic in a fast-paced start-up
  • Be ready to travel up to 50% in some months
  • Verbal - including presentation abilities - and written communications skills
  • Data & outcome driven
