Fluidra’s seeking Director of Data and Analytics to join our team onsite at our East Coast office in Atlanta, GA (by airport).
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Data and Analytics Director is accountable for the strategic governance and management of the North America Data and Analytics team.
This role requires a deep technical understanding as well as robust management skills to align data solutions with the organization’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for providing strategic insights to both executive stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that data architecture recommendations maximize the value of client data across the organization. Additionally, you will:
- Drive the alignment of data architecture strategies with business objectives, ensuring that recommendations deliver tangible business value.
- Initiate, implement, and monitor data initiatives and support data governance committees and data management working groups.
- Drive implementation efficiency and effectiveness across the pilots and future projects to minimize cost, increase speed of implementation and maximize value delivery.
- Ensure the organization complies with global data management policies plus data management and record keeping standards.
- Lead discussions and presentations to business stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable business insights.
- Engage effectively with non-technical executives, emphasizing the value and importance of modern enterprise-level data solutions.
- Play a pivotal leadership role within the Data & Analytics practice area, focusing on the growth and development of capabilities and talent.
- Spread innovative technology solutions by leading thought leadership on emerging trends, influencing the organization’s approach to data and analytics.
- Actively deliver the roll-out and embedding of Data Foundation initiatives in support of the key business programs advising on the technology and using leading market standard tools.
- Coordinate the change management process, incident management and problem management process.
- Ensure traceability of requirements from Data through testing and scope changes, to training and transition.
- The responsibilities will be split between playing a senior business and practice development role, and a people management/ delivery role (Strategy, advisory, architecture).
- Ability to travel 30%, both domestically and internationally
WHAT WE SEEK
- 10+ Years of experience in enterprise-wide data warehousing, governance, policies, procedures, and implementation
- Demonstrated leadership in driving innovative technology implementations and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge and direct experience with modern data warehouses and different components such as Snowflake.
- Proven technology champion in working with relational, Data warehouse databases, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects and teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven history of effectively engaging with both technical teams and business executives.
- Very Good understanding in Data Foundation initiatives, like Data Modeling, Data Quality Management, Data Governance, Data Maturity Assessments and Data Strategy in support of the key business stakeholders.
- Aptitude for working with data, interpreting results, business intelligence and analytic best practices.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of consumer and industrial products sector and IoT.
- Functional understanding of solutions supporting business processes.
- Understanding of Master data management, data visualization and story building, data science and machine learning is highly preferred.
EDUCATION
• Bachelors in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science discipline or equivalent
