Job Overview

Pretium Enterprise Services (PES) is seeking a Director of Corporate Aviation to provide corporate flight department oversight, operational support (strategic & tactical) and 5-star Host & Concierge service for the corporate aviation function.

In this role, you’ll Facilitate and support general business operations for the corporate aviation department through independent thinking, exercising good judgment, interpreting, and implementing department policies and procedures, taking individual initiative to make decisions, and utilizing exceptional organization and communication skills

The required location for this opportunity is Miami, FL.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a central point of contact for aircraft scheduling between key stakeholders, flight crew and flight department in a 24/7/365 operational environment
  • Utilize internal and Third-Party resources, professional experience, and knowledge of the key stakeholders to plan and execute error-free itineraries
  • Maintain positive working relationships with aviation related vendors, contractors, insurance companies and fixed base operators
  • Serve as the main point of contact for questions on all monthly management bills prepared by accounting department
  • Assist in compiling monthly/quarterly/annual utilization reporting as requested for accounting and tax purposes

Operations/Administrative

  • Serve as accountable central internal point of contact responsible for all scheduling and logistical coordination between internal stakeholders, flight crews and support functions. These responsibilities will be managed via an efficient, coordinated and effective logistics and scheduling process to be developed by the successful candidate in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • In conjunction with Legal, maintain the accuracy of all aviation insurance applications and pilot qualification forms (to include pilot ratings, training, pilot flight history, pilot medical, and additional documents as required) department records to include all flight records, trip reports, maintenance records, aviation related contracts and service agreements, contract pilot agreements, hangar agreements, and fuel contracts
  • In conjunction with Finance and key stakeholders, establish the roles, responsibilities, accountable parties and reporting tools to maintain all financial tracking and record keeping for the aviation function, including but not limited to; forecasting, budgeting, invoice reviews and processing, monthly/quarterly, etc., financial reporting, audits, contracts compliance (financial), allocations, etc.
  • Create and distribute to Executive Management quarterly aircraft use reports (a high-level summary of corporate flight activity to include date, aircraft assigned, flight segments, flight hours by segment and total hours, passengers count for each segment, requesting department, business purpose of flight)
  • Participate in developing annual Aviation Department expense and capital budgets

Host & Concierge Services

  • Preparing the itineraries, confirming both arrival and departure reservations with the stakeholder, verifying catering requests, ground transportation, and ensuring all special requirements are executed
  • Travel with the stakeholder as requested to ensure a 5 star experience throughout the travel itinerary
  • Coordinate ground services with the FBO to include extended parking, overnight parking, and hangar requests and arrange passenger ground transportation as needed
  • Understand and explain aircraft and airport limitations, Federal Aviation Regulations, and other potential impacts to the experience while anticipating needs and providing alternatives

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with and servicing executive level clients and/or high net worth individuals required
  • 5-10 years aviation/private business jet experience preferred
  • 2 years of high end hospitality customer service experience preferred
  • Polished demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid command of hospitality service to include, at minimum, proper command of language, proper introductions, table settings, basic wine, and beverage service
  • Able to work independently within operational guidelines
  • Able to handle stressful situations and be sensitive to political climate
  • Self-starter, diplomatic, and an effective problem solver, with high self-confidence and an outgoing personality
  • Flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to travel with stakeholders as needed and consistently deliver 5 star level service
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is required, except where prohibited pursuant to state or local law.
