The Director of Contracts reports to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). They are responsible for developing, managing, and administering Government contracts and subcontract agreements of varying size and complexity. The Director of Contracts oversees contract administration and ensures compliance with CSA policies and procedures, applicable federal rules and regulations, and ethical standards. The Director of Contracts leads and manages the contracts team.

This position can be performed remotely with the preferred location near either our Virginia Beach or Reston, VA offices.
How Role will make an impact:
- Supervise the internal Contracts Team
- Cradle to Grave contracts support: Prime Contract Management, Subcontract Management, Commercial contracts, 1099s, Financial reviews, Management of the Contracts Data Management System (CDMS), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Teaming Agreement (TA) Reviews and Approvals, Proposal Support, Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) and Corporate Compliance Officer, Corporate contracts policies and procedures, Federal Reporting (eCMRA, esrs, FFATA, SAM etc…), ITAR/Export Import Control.
- Prime Contract Management: Reviewer of all prime contract/task order documentation provided by CSA’s clients, facilitates review of contractual documentation with corporate leadership when appropriate, ensures fully executed contractual documentation is properly distributed and filed in CDMS, ensures all contract management actions are logged and filed in CDMS, ensures prime contract metrics are kept up-to-date and made available to all CSA stakeholders.
- Subcontract Management: With support from Project Control, generates all subcontract contract/task order documentation, ensures subcontracts include proper flow-down of all prime contract clauses, ensures best subcontract type is used (CPFF/FFP/T&M, etc.) based on real-world business dynamics, facilities review of subcontract documentation with CSA’s subcontractors, ensures fully executed subcontract documentation is properly distributed and filed in CDMS, ensures subcontract management actions are logged and filed in CDMS, ensures subcontract metrics are kept up-to-date and made available to all CSA stakeholders.
- Accountable for the standardization of project control financial workbooks and accuracy of the data.
- Responsible for compliance with CPSR and CPSR audit readiness
- Implement contracts l best practices within Deltek CostPoint
- Implement and be accountable to performance measures, or metrics, which directly tie to the Corporate Strategy
- Implement evaluation/feedback from the Chief Administrative Officer. Metrics will be evaluated for status and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions if required.
- Implement and maintain Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool.
- Assist with M&A integration efforts as necessary.

- Travel demands may include local and long-distance travel to and from the client site as required by the client and CAO.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- May be required to lift 15 pounds at times.
What Sets you apart:
- Bachelors preferred.
- Deltek Costpoint PR/PO module experience
- CFCM/CPCM/DAWIA Contracts Level II or III Certification
- 8+ years of progressive experience in federal government contracting roles.
- Ability to obtain up to Top Secret level clearance
