Credit Karma is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Compensation who will develop innovative solutions to ensure we stay market competitive, continue to attract and retain top talent, and lead our global compensation strategy and programs. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, you will play a critical role in shaping our compensation programs to drive our business forward.

What you'll do:

  • Administer and maintain our comprehensive compensation strategy which aligns with the business goals and ensures competitive and fair compensation practices
  • Oversee all aspects of compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, equity awards, and other incentives
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry compensation trends and to ensure Credit Karma’s ability to attract and retain top talent in the industry
  • Evaluate and benchmark competitive compensation levels for all roles within the organization 
  • Partner cross functionally with partner teams to ensure that all compensation practices adhere to local and international labor laws, regulations, and governance requirements
  • Maintain effective communication strategies to educate employees about their compensation to ensure transparency and understanding
  • Oversee SOX compliance for controls related to equity and cash-related compensation
  • Build and maintain complex and dynamic models in Google Sheets involving multiple data sources
  • As a Director of Compensation for an Intuit business unit, you will also leverage your experience at multi-tiered or subsidiary-structured organizations in order to partner successfully with stakeholders across Intuit

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of progressive compensation experience with at least 3 years within a public company 
  • Demonstrated success in owning large-scale compensation projects and driving projects forward successfully to completion
  • Strong understanding of global compensation principles, regulations and market trends
  • Well versed in recognizing confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintaining confidentiality
  • Broad knowledge of HR Technologies and Tools, including Workday and Radford
  • High ownership mentality with a strong willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with a creative flair to balance data with actionable insights, recommendations and insights
  • Outstanding communication skills to rally teams and present compelling strategies to stakeholders
  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company is preferred
