Job Description:
As the Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, you will lead efforts to drive revenue growth through cultivating new business opportunities, managing high value partnerships, and overseeing digital marketing strategies that generate organic inbound leads. This role requires strategic vision, strong relationship management skills, and an ability to align cross functional teams to achieve company growth targets. You will be instrumental in identifying market trends, enhancing partnerships with current point of sale (POS) resellers, developing new strategic relationships, and equipping the sales team with tools and training to capitalize on market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify, establish, and foster high value partnerships, particularly with POS resellers, to expand QSROnline’s footprint.
- Strengthen existing partnerships by aligning mutual goals, coordinating joint efforts, and exploring comarketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for partnerships that aligns with company growth objectives, tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
Business Development and Market Expansion
- Lead efforts to identify and secure new business opportunities, including entry into new markets and untapped segments.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies, assess market demands, and identify emerging trends.
- Collaborate with leadership to set sales and revenue targets, building actionable plans to achieve or exceed those objectives.
Digital Marketing and Inbound Lead Generation
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives aimed at generating organic inbound leads, optimizing SEO, content, and social media strategies.
- Monitor campaign performance and apply data driven insights to maximize digital reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Align marketing and sales teams on messaging and strategies to ensure a cohesive approach across all customer touchpoints.
Sales Support and Training
- Work closely with the account executive team to provide them with the training, resources, and tools necessary for successful sales execution.
- Develop tailored training programs on sales best practices, product knowledge, and partner specific insights.
- Support the sales team in refining pitches, presentations, and negotiations, ensuring consistency and clarity in brand messaging.
Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Track key metrics to measure the impact of partnerships, business development efforts, and digital marketing activities.
- Present findings and strategic insights to executive leadership, recommending adjustments to drive improved performance.
- Regularly evaluate partnership health and ROI, renegotiating terms or making adjustments as necessary to enhance outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Extensive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and digital marketing, ideally within the POS, SaaS, or related technology industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through partnership cultivation and strategic business initiatives.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and track outcomes.
