Director of Business Administration – Korea

The Director of Business Administration will oversee financial, sales operations and other administration functions for Arteris Korea. This role will report to VP Corporate Controller and work closely with various corporate stakeholders to manage local finance and accounting processes, sales operations, HR, payroll, and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations. Additionally, the role will support cross-functional teams in addressing business challenges, manage key relationships with customers, vendors, banking, tax, and landlord partners, and provide hands-on support in sales operations to drive business efficiency while ensuring compliance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Finance, Accounting, Reporting & Compliance
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, billing, collections, treasury, SOX and tax compliance in Korea
  • Collaborate with corporate finance team to implement various corporate policies specifically related to customer contracts
  • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to optimize financial efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and customers to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
Operational Sales Support & Revenue Management
  • Support sales operations by optimizing order processing, invoicing, and revenue recognition
  • Assist with pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and sales forecasting to drive business growth
  • Provide financial insights to enhance sales strategy and profitability
  • Work closely with sales, finance and legal teams to improve customer account management and ensure timely payments
Human Resources & Payroll Management
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and corporate HR policies including developing and implementing an employee handbook for Korea
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations in collaboration with corporate HR
Legal & Compliance Support
  • Coordinates with legal and revenue teams on contracts, risk management, and regulatory matters
  • Assist in contract management, risk mitigation, and corporate governance for the Korean subsidiary
Relationship Management 
  • Liaison between Subsidiary & Headquarters
  • Manage relationships with local fiscal authorities, banking partners, tax advisors, customers and vendors
  • Support Arteris subsidiaries located in APAC region as needed
  • Represents the company in business events and industry groups as needed
  • Serve as the main point of contact for financial and administrative interactions with external stakeholders 
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and administration, preferably in a multinational subsidiary setting
  • Proven experience in sales operations, revenue management, and customer account oversight
  • Experience managing HR, payroll, legal, and compliance matters in Korea
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Korean to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
